Robert Nijst is Chief Executive Officer of VTTI Energy Partners LP. He is also Chief Executive Officer of VTTI, a post he has held since 2006. Prior to joining VTTI, Mr. Nijst spent 14 years at VOPAK and its predecessor companies, latterly serving as President of VOPAK’s Oil Europe and Middle East division.
Mr. Nijst holds a degree in economics from Erasmus University in Rotterdam and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from IMD Lausanne.
Robert Abbott joined VTTI Energy Partners LP in November 2014, having previously served as a director in the Energy Corporate Finance team of Deutsche Bank.
He has more than a decade of experience in energy-focused investment banking.
Mr. Abbott read History at the University of Cambridge and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree. He is also a registered Chartered Accountant, having trained and qualified at Deloitte.
Mr. Yilmaz joined VTTI in November 2007, serving first in the management teams of the company’s Ventspils and Amsterdam terminals, before his election as Chief Financial Officer of VTTI in July 2009.
Prior to his positions with VTTI, Mr. Yilmaz served in several finance positions at Unilever over a period of eleven years. He holds a degree in economics from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands.
